THE PLAYER’S FIELD GUIDE

How to play

Win a three-lap technical 2D race by carrying speed through hairpins and chicanes, then using drift boosts and powerups at decisive moments.

Your first few minutes

  1. Choose a stock race, select a car, and pick a technical circuit such as Apex Relay, Switchback Circuit, or Chicane Loop.
  2. Hold your line through the opening corners and avoid needless contact while the six-car pack compresses.
  3. Hold Spacebar through suitable turns to drift; release cleanly to convert the slide into a drift boost for the next straight.
  4. Use Enter to activate an offensive or defensive powerup when it can change a battle, then finish all three laps and review the results.

Controls

Spacebar
Drift; successful drifting can produce a drift boost.
Enter
Activate an offensive or defensive powerup.

Only Spacebar drifting and Enter-to-use powerups are confirmed. Use on-screen help for steering, acceleration, braking, and menus; controller support is unconfirmed.

A little head start

  • Enter hairpins wide and save the drift boost for the exit instead of sliding across the apex.
  • Treat a chicane as one linked maneuver: a clean first direction change sets up the second.
  • Save defensive powerups for pressure; use offensive ones when rivals are committed to a narrow section.

Before you start

  • A desktop browser capable of running the Godot Web build.
  • Keyboard input; consult in-game help for other bindings.
