Privacy

This policy explains how Jun’s Arcade handles information while you browse the gallery. Last updated: 7 October 2026.

Who operates this site

Jun’s Arcade is a personal games showcase created and maintained by Jun, a frontend engineer and game creator based in Singapore. It is hosted through a third-party hosting provider. This policy covers the gallery; external games, media hosts, and other linked services have their own data practices. There is currently no public channel for questions or applicable privacy requests. A real destination will be listed on the creator contact page when configured.

Browsing without an account

The gallery does not require registration, request payment details, provide a newsletter signup, or maintain a contact-form database. Search, genre filters, and display controls operate in your browser. Search terms and filter choices can appear in the page URL, so avoid putting personal information into the search box. Those URLs may be present in hosting logs or shared if you copy the address.

Saved games and browser storage

When you bookmark a game, this gallery stores a list of game identifiers in your browser’s local storage under juns-arcade-saved-v1. This is a functional preference, not a gallery account or an advertising profile. The application does not send your saved list to a gallery backend or synchronize it across devices.

Your list remains in that browser until you unsave entries, clear site data, or the browser removes it. You can manage it on Saved games, or remove this site’s local storage through your browser settings. Browsing still works if storage is unavailable; saved preferences may not persist in that case.

Visual feedback

Gallery visual-effect and ambience preferences can be stored locally when browser storage is available. Gallery sound starts off on each page load and requires an explicit choice to turn it on.

Pointer positions are used locally to draw particle effects and respond to clicks. The gallery application does not record or transmit those positions. You can turn decorative effects off with the motion control, and the gallery respects your device’s reduced-motion preference.

Hosting, security, and measurement

When a page or asset is requested, the hosting provider and its delivery services can receive technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, referrer, and request time. These services use technical data to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose failures, and operate their infrastructure.

Hosted pages may also be subject to provider-operated usage measurement that processes page visits, referrers, and browser or device information. This gallery’s own application code does not add a separate analytics tracker or interaction-recording script. Provider processing and retention are governed by the provider’s own policies; this gallery does not promise that hosting data is never collected or that such processing is cookie-free.

Embedded games and external media

When an available game has an embedded player, visiting its detail page starts loading that external game immediately in an iframe. It is not a redirect, and the game provider may receive your IP address, referrer, browser or device information, and other request details as part of that load. The provider may use cookies or local storage, cache game resources in your browser, make network requests, offer online multiplayer, and collect information under its own policy.

Covers, screenshots, and video can also be hosted by external providers. For pointers capable of hover, hovering an eligible gallery thumbnail can lazily start loading and playing a muted preview; leaving it stops playback. The carousel also has an explicit Watch preview action. Selecting a game does not load a video. A detail page’s video tab loads metadata when opened and plays only after you select Play. Media hosts can receive request information during these loads. The gallery does not control the storage, advertising, or online features of an external game or media provider. Review the provider’s information before entering personal data or using online features.

No camera or microphone permission is needed to browse the gallery or use its embedded player. Do not grant a permission you do not want to an external provider; browser permission controls remain available to you.

Advertising and ads.txt

An ads.txt file, if present, is a text declaration that identifies an authorized advertising seller. It does not display an advertisement, load an ad, or place cookies by itself. This release does not add advertising tags, ad slots, or an advertising script to the gallery.

An external game or media provider may have its own advertising or cookie practices. Those practices are controlled by that provider, not by the gallery. If the gallery adds an advertising partner in the future, this policy will be updated before that feature is introduced.

Your choices

You can manage saved preferences as described above and use your browser’s privacy, cookie, storage, and permission controls. Clearing browser data may remove saved games or provider settings. Choices you make with an external game or media provider are governed by that provider’s controls and policy.

Contact availability

No public contact or privacy-request channel is configured right now. Do not send requests or sensitive information to external game or media providers as a substitute; they operate separate services.

Children and sensitive information

The gallery contains games with varied themes. Individual game content notes identify specific source-observed themes or warnings where useful, including a preschool/daycare setting and a horror warning. These notes are not age ratings. The gallery does not ask for age, health information, precise location, or other sensitive profile information.

Changes and questions

This policy will be updated when the gallery’s data practices change, including before adding advertising partners or new collection features. The date above identifies the current policy. No public contact or privacy-request channel is currently configured.
