- Earn STYLE ranks and clear arena encounters
- Face the Rhino Crawler boss
How to play
Clear three stages, defeat arena encounters, and reach the Rhino Crawler boss while building FURY and STYLE.
Your first few minutes
- In the first arena, learn running, jumping, shooting, and grappling from the tutorial and on-screen prompts.
- Shoot from safer angles, then grapple to reposition or close distance. Grab and throw objects when available instead of trading unnecessary close-range hits.
- Advance through all three stages, using pickups and items during dangerous encounters. Keep moving to avoid attacks.
- Build FURY through active combat and vary actions for STYLE. Use the stage tally to prepare for the boss.
The source confirms run, jump, shoot, grapple, grab/throw, items, and pause, but gives no input mappings. Consult the game's on-screen help/tutorial; no scheme is invented here.
A little head start
- Use grappling as both movement and attack setup before enemies surround you.
- Save useful items for dense arena pressure or the boss approach; STYLE favors deliberate, varied combat.
Before you start
- A modern web browser; the catalog identifies Side Scroller as a Godot browser game.
- The catalog marks this build not connected: these instructions describe the tested project, not a confirmed public release.
About this edition: This follows the source-confirmed v2 checkpoint: Side Scroller, three stages, FURY, STYLE, items, grapple/throw play, and the Rhino Crawler boss. It is unpublished and not connected; newer work is unconfirmed.
