THE PLAYER’S FIELD GUIDE

How to play

Turn a wilderness camp into a durable shelter, improve your skills and equipment, and survive escalating creature waves after dark.

Your first few minutes

  1. Gather nearby materials, craft basic tools, and use the map to learn your camp, points of interest, and explored ground.
  2. Build a campfire and enclosed shelter with walls, a door, and a roof so you have a safer resting place.
  3. Stock up before night. Draw and release the bow at creatures, recover missed arrows, and search supply caches.
  4. Store finds in chests, pin useful locations, and expand the cabin with windows, half walls, gables, ridge caps, and roof corners.
  5. Survive each wave, develop five skills, and rest by a campfire inside a shelter for the Rested benefit.

A little head start

  • Prepare materials and arrows before dusk: later nights add Hollows, and every third night brings the Elder Howler.
  • Pin caches or remote resource areas; pins appear on the compass and clear when reached.
  • Store all moves pack slots but leaves the hotbar alone, protecting equipped tools.

Before you start

  • A browser capable of running the Three.js project.
  • The catalog destination is not verified; play is not connected.
