THE PLAYER’S FIELD GUIDE

How to play

Survive three combat zones and four bosses through manual movement, automatic fire, grazing, and smart power-up timing while protecting your score and combo.

Your first few minutes

  1. Guide the ship through formations; firing is automatic, so focus on positioning, escape lanes, projectiles, and hazards.
  2. Grazing builds energy for a 10-second enemy-and-projectile time-slow. Collect a power-up, then press E to activate it; select shields, beam, or rapid fire for the danger ahead.
  3. Enter bosses with retreat space, read attack telegraphs, and move through openings. Use time-slow or a power-up when patterns crowd the screen; continue to victory or retry after defeat.

Controls

E
Activate the collected power-up in the inventory slot.

Only E is explicitly confirmed. Movement, pause, retry, and firing mappings are unknown; use on-screen help instead of assuming keyboard, touch, or gamepad controls.

A little head start

  • Protect the ship's small central core; collect items only with an escape route.
  • Grazing helps, but make close passes only when a safe lane is visible.
  • Save power-ups for bosses or hazard bottlenecks, not quiet formations.

About this edition: This follows the cataloged Continued Session. Later local shield work—a launch shield and a drop after every four defeats—was validated but not checkpointed or confirmed live, so it is excluded here.
