THE PLAYER’S FIELD GUIDE

How to play

Descend from the broken MRT's B1 tunnels into B2, complete the fuse objectives, and survive Hollows, crawlers, It, and the Mimic with your torch.

Your first few minutes

  1. Sweep B1 with the torch on, read wall warnings, and follow the blood trail toward the fuse objectives.
  2. Keep the revolver ready for Hollows or crawlers; take headshots from a clear line, then reposition before enemies surround you.
  3. Search for the fuses needed to open the descent. Watch corners and listen for the Mimic's footsteps.
  4. In B2, use cover and controlled shots. Treat every unexplored section as dangerous.

Controls

Space
Hold your breath while hiding under a sheeted autopsy table; keep the torch off to avoid revealing yourself.

Only Space is explicitly confirmed in the source; consult on-screen help for movement, aiming, firing, reloading, torch, and interaction controls.

A little head start

  • Before searching for a fuse, clear the approach and note a retreat path; conserve shots.
  • If the Mimic listens near a table, hide underneath, extinguish the torch, and hold Space only while you can hold your breath.
  • Headshots, dismemberment, and finishers are confirmed, but distance and cover are safer than rushing a finisher.
