Game briefing
Track beasts across a lush volcanic island, read their tells, dodge and punish, then turn every carve into stronger gear and a path to the signal tower.
Documented features
- Track, fight, and carve wild creatures
- Chop trees and mine boulders for wood and stone
- Craft and switch between club, hatchet, pick, and fists
- Grow the camp through objectives and unlocks
- Use the hunter journal, satchel, and map while exploring
How to play
Restore Cinderfall Isle's signal beacon by gathering materials, improving camp, hunting creatures, and carving useful parts.
Your first few minutes
- Follow the journal's active objective. Find a nearby tree and boulder, then harvest wood and stone for your first supplies.
- Craft the flint hatchet early. Use the hatchet on trees and the pick on boulders; the progress bar shows when a resource is nearly broken.
- Track and fight creatures, then carve defeated bodies for parts. Check the satchel and use the map to plan routes between camp and hunting grounds.
- Spend materials on camp objectives and unlocks. Return with each haul and follow the journal until the beacon can be restored.
Controls
- 1
- Switch to the club.
- 2
- Switch to the hatchet.
- 3
- Switch to the pick.
- 4
- Switch to fists.
Confirmed mapping: 1–4 switches the hotbar tool. Use on-screen prompts for movement, attacks, interaction, journal, satchel, and map actions; other bindings are not documented.
A little head start
- Match tool to task: the hatchet is fastest on trees and the pick on boulders; the club or fists work, but more slowly.
- Carve after a successful hunt, check supplies, and return to camp before a long expedition becomes a lost trip.
- Tool changes during a swing wait until it ends, so switch before the next harvest or attack.
