How to play
Survive five haunted hours by placing wards, managing supplies, and using the flashlight against escalating threats until dawn.
Your first few minutes
- Inspect dark approaches with the flashlight; use the first hour to learn routes and conserve repair supplies.
- Select a ward, aim its preview over an enemy route, rotate it, and place it. Its defense works during construction.
- Watch ward condition and danger alerts. Use the flashlight to inspect and burn nearby enemies; reserve UV lamps for reliable damage.
- After each hour, open the floor plan, repair or improve the best defense, and prepare for the next escalation.
Controls
- Mouse wheel while placing a salt line or UV lamp
- Rotate the placement ghost 45 degrees per notch; scrolling over an existing lamp or salt line rotates it too.
- Tab
- Open or close the floor plan.
Only source-confirmed mappings are listed. Check Help for other inputs; device mappings are unverified.
A little head start
- Placement mode holds the camera still; walking repositions you.
- The torch hurts enemies and freezes The Weeping, but UV lamps are stronger. Rebulbing a lamp costs 2 supplies.
- Use the calm after the survival bell to plan; a riser precedes the next wave.
Before you start
- Desktop or laptop browser running the Godot web build.
- Audio recommended for alerts and story.
