Game briefing
Race the clock in a chaotic indie game jam. Build features, squash runaway bugs, manage energy and your buddy’s morale, post devlogs, and outscore rival jammers before the deadline hits.
Documented features
- Tiered jam rules with score bonuses and unlockable difficulty
- Energy, feature backlog, known-bug, and 24-hour jam management
- Recruitable buddies with morale, grumpiness, and quitting states
- Bug Bash interactions plus devlog posts and live-chat reactions
- Three rival jammers with live scores, taunts, and final rankings
How to play
Finish the 24-hour jam with the strongest score by shipping features, managing energy, clearing bugs, and protecting morale.
Your first few minutes
- Choose a rules tier; higher tiers add score multipliers but increase difficulty.
- Work through the backlog, crunching when needed and resting before exhaustion becomes costly.
- Debug promptly. In Bug Bash, the first fix is immediate; click or press Space on moving glitches for up to two more fixes.
- At hour 6, choose Artist Rui, Composer Mika, Tester Tess, or Go Solo for +10 energy. Crunch lowers buddy morale; rest raises it. Low morale causes grumpiness or quitting.
- Post for hype, but not with three or more bugs: chat roasts you and hype falls. Check your score against the rivals.
Controls
- Space
- Fix a moving glitch bug during Bug Bash.
- 8
- Publish a devlog post.
Mouse, touch, and keys 1–8 are supported; only Space and 8 are explicitly mapped here. Use on-screen labels for other actions.
A little head start
- Treat energy, bugs, and time as one budget; reckless crunch can cost more than rest and clean debugging.
- Protect morale: a grumpy buddy works at half strength; zero morale makes them quit.
- Rank B or better before raising the rules tier; that unlocks the next tier.
Before you start
- A modern web browser with keyboard or pointer/touch input.
- Internet access for the published Godot build and streamed content.
