THE PLAYER’S FIELD GUIDE

How to play

Grow a functioning superhero high school: place rooms, keep utilities online, develop students, and turn House progress into challenges and reputation.

Your first few minutes

  1. Inspect the supplied campus, then place classrooms and a basic Training Hall without blocking doors.
  2. Use the build tabs to add a Gymnasium, Pool, Showers, Laundry, and element Halls as rank allows.
  3. Connect rooms to power and water. Watch supply totals and fix Unwired or Brownout rooms before relying on them.
  4. Let students attend classes and train; matching-power students train twice as fast in their element Hall.
  5. Qualify two Houses, keep the Pool working, and use the Swim Meet challenge to compete for House Points.

Controls

K
Select the Cable tool for power connections.
J
Select the Pipe tool for water connections.
V
Select Cut to remove connections.
G
Toggle the Campus Grid view.

These grid hotkeys are source-confirmed. Use the on-screen palette and room panels for placement and other actions.

A little head start

  • Expand supply before several new facilities: a room can exist yet go offline in a Brownout.
  • Pair Showers with Laundry: showers consume clean linen and washers replenish it.
  • Advanced Halls require Rank 2 and a basic Training Hall; only matching-power students can use them.

Before you start

  • Browser-based Godot project.
  • No connected public playable destination is listed; these instructions describe the project and play is not connected.

About this edition: This reflects v6: utilities, Gymnasium, Pool, Swim Meets, element Halls, Showers, and Laundry. The catalog records it as not connected. Storms, burst pipes, and a Swim Meet season remain proposals, not confirmed features.
